The Classic Route to Wiang Kum Kam Lumphun & Famous Baan Tawai Woodcarving Village. 
Half an hour drive south of Chiang Mai City through Sarapee district to visit the ruin temples of Wiang Kum Kam; the former capital of Lanna Kingdom.
Then drive along the road that we are sheltered over 130 years old majestic trees for 12 kms. After that visit the most important temple in Lampoon province “Wat Prathart Haripunchai” & the Buddhist collage for young novices.
Observe the culture of selling at the local fresh market.
Then make a circle drive to San Patong and Hangdong district, visit Baan Tawai; the popular shopping center of Chiangmai that you can buyhand-made souvenirs such as; wood carving products, local clothes, costumes, lacquer-ware, silverware, etc. Then drive back to the city for lunch. |
