Proceed to visit the first temple of Chiang Mai “Wat Chiang Mun” Chiang means the city and Mun means strength. The two important Buddha images are installed in vihara (Assembly hall) a tiny Crystal Buddha image called Pra Seh-Taang Kamanee. It is thought to have the power to bring rain. Another image called Phra Sila Khoa, reflects the fine workmanship of Indian craftsmen from thousand of years ago.  
Then continue to visit the biggest pagoda temple of Chiang Mai at Wat Chedi Luang which used to contained the most sacred Buddha image in the country called Emerald Buddha .
Afterward proceed to visit the biggest temple of Chiang Mai called Wat Phra Singh. There is the most beautiful grilled assembly hall (Vihara Lai Kam) with Lanna style in Chiangmai. Inside vihara has two very old mural paintings that tell the story of Thai literature show the scene of daily life and their costumes. The main feature of this temple is a revered Phra Buddha Sihing at the Grilled assembly hall.
Go along the way pass the moat of Chiangmai city to Wat Suan Dok (The King’s flowers garden temple). Here you can see the biggest assembly hall of Chiangmai that difference style from other temples, wander around and see the Royal Graveyard of Chiang Mai Royal family. Then further to Wat Jed Yod (Seven spires pagoda) that has a beautiful and strange pagoda with the celestials stucco relief and seven chedis (Pagoda) on its top. Once the temple is celebrated the 8th world Buddhist council. The other name of this temple is Photharam temple.
